The state Health Department has posted five DSRIP Design Planning Grants totaling a potential $4.8 million in requested grant funds and more than $181 million in capital funding requests for the Western New york, including those submitted by the following lead applicants:
- Catholic Medical Catholic Medical Partners-Accountable Care IPA, Inc. for Cattaraugus, Chautauqua,
Erie, Niagara, and Orleans counties;
- Elderwood at Grand Island on behalf of Elderwood Administrative Services for Allegany, Cattaraugus,
Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming counties;
- Erie County Medical Center Corporation for Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara,
Orleans, and Wyoming counties;
- Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for Niagara and Orleans counties; and
- Olean General Hospital for Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties.

The DOH received a total of 50 applications for design
grants. These applications will be reviewed by the state team, and awards for accepted
applications will be made on August 1, 2014.
